Message for all groups for March 23 and 24

Dear students,

Here are the audio reports you have to listen for next week (March 23 and 24), there are no transcripts at all. It is important that you listen to these reports several times and (very) carefully. Next week (March 23 and 24), there will be a test on these three short reports (MCQ types questions like for the TOEFL test) and the test will be graded.

During the test next week, you will only hear them once, so it is important that you prepare and listen to these reports beforehand and very carefully. No notes taken previously will be allowed.

Here is the link (in case it does not work, switch to Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox and vice versa):

If nothing works, email me and I will send these reports.

As convened with the Tuesday group today, the short quiz on the vocabulary is postponed to March 31 for the Tuesday group and to March 30 for the Monday groups. In case the Serpente center is closed and the rooms at La Sorbonne remain closed, we will have class in the Boutruche library like today, this library is near the History department's office.

I also want you to do some research on Joseph Stiglitz. We will start working on him from next week.

Reminder: learn and revise the phrasal verbs from now itself. Remember that they will be on the tests you will have before the end of the semester. Also, revise the idioms of the first semester, they will be on the bonus questions on these tests. New students can email me so that I can give them the list of these idioms, this list is also available on this blog itself (check older posts).

As said previously, do not email me on Sunday and do not expect any reply on Sundays because I will not reply.

Best regards,

Mounir Nassor (mounirnassor@yahoo.co.in)
