Latest precisions and clarifications (May 24) by the History department

Dear students,

Here are the latest instructions and precisions I have just received this morning from the administration of the History department (Prof. Tallon):
  • for those students whose average grade is above 10, they will have their last class this coming week and there will be no more exams or class sessions for them this week or afterwards (which means that the exams and papers you had submitted during this semester will count...)
  • for those students whose average grade is below 10, they will have an exam on the last week of June (June 22-25) and I am not required to have more class sessions during that extra period (from June 1 to June 22) since I have done them all. They will be given more precisions on the content of this last exam on Monday and on Tuesday.
I think this somewhat "clarifies" and "simplifies" all the previous contradicting decisions. I hope they will not be challenged in the meantime during this week by the higher authorities.

To those students who know that their average grade is above 10, I still recommend that you ALL come to class on Monday at Serpente and on Tuesday at La Sorbonne, I will provide you with extra handouts I had prepared and they could be (very) useful for you some time in the future.

Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope (and pray...) that all these latest measures and precisions will remain as they are.

Best regards,

Mounir Nassor
