First in-class exam on April 27 and 28

Dear students,
  1. As I said to one of the students today (Monday group), those students who got a (very) low grade on "Press Freedom" can provide me with extra work (summary of the third audio report, summary or answers on the report on Australia and 5 questions and answers on "Press Freedom"). That will somewhat compensate their (very) low grade.
  2. Optional: I strongly recommened that you correct and return the corrections on your work on "Press Freedom": you can get up to 3 extra points.
  3. Those who got good grades can also do the same and send their work by email during the holidays and on April 27 at the latest (last deadline).
  4. Our first in-class exam will take place just after the holidays (April 27 and 28):
  • listening comprehension (unknown report - MCQ types questions like those you had for the training exercices on the audio reports A, B, C)
  • idioms (fish/ beans/eggs/fruit/ hair/tea). Check BBC Idioms to help you learn and understand these idioms more efficiently and more rapidly:
  • grammar (present perfect (simple and progressive forms) / preterit)
  • phrasal verbs
  • vocabulary from "Press Freedom" and "Digging Deepa
Best regards,

Mounir Nassor (mounirnassor@yahoo.co.in)
