LAST EXAM DATES (January 2010)

1/ Second main exam (students in "contrôle continu") / "contrôle final" (for those students who are in this situation): January 03 (Monday groups), January 04 (Tuesday group) and January 06 (Thursday group). 

Students in "contrôle final": the dates, the hours, the rooms and the program of revisions for the "contrôle final"  are the same for those of you who are in "contrôle continu". 

Revision program for all students ("contrôle continu" and "contrôle final" students):
  • "Tony Blair and Slavery" and "Moscow's Homeless People": vocab + listening comprehension
  • Sen's article ("What Clash of Civilizations?"): vocab + short essay/commentary writing
  • Phrasal verbs: the entire handout 
  • Gram: up to chapter 09 (included)
  • Government and Politics: up to "to deport"
2/ Short vocab test (only for the students in "contrôle continu"): January 10 (Monday groups) / January 11 (Tuesday group) and January 13 (Thursday group)

Revision program (students in "contrôle continu" only)
  •  Government and Politics: the entire handout
THERE WILL BE NO CATCH-UP SESSION WHATSOEVER EVEN IF YOU HAVE A VALID AND SINCERE JUSTIFICATION FOR YOUR POSSIBLE ABSENCE IN JANUARY. 

AS PER THE RULES OF THE UNIVERSITY, A ZERO MARK/GRADE IN CASE OF ABSENCE AT ONE (OR BOTH) OF THESE EXAMS IS THE ONLY OPTION I (REGRETFULLY) HAVE.

3/ Reminder for those students who are in "contrôle continu": they must provide me with all the exercises from a chapter of their choice in case they are absent, otherwise they will get a zero mark (for each absence without a chapter of exercises) which will be added to all your semester grades.
